From November 2025, those in the United States will get to watch the critically acclaimed anthology series, Soulmates. Taking a leaf from some of the best anthology series out there, such as Black Mirror, this series was set in a near-future, with all six episodes co-created by Will Bridges and Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein. The central premise revolves around a company called Soul Connex, which has developed “the test”: a scientific breakthrough that flawlessly determines your one true soulmate —yes, a bit like Black Mirror’s Hang the DJ. Each of the six self-contained episodes explores the profound, often messy, and sometimes dark consequences this technology has on people’s lives and relationships. The stories range from a married couple wondering if their relationship is “enough” when a scientifically certain match is out there, to a professor confronted by his soulmate, who has sinister intentions, and a man who joins a cult after learning his soulmate is already dead. The show attracted a wealth of recognizable talent, with some of the biggest names including: Sarah Snook (Succession) as Nikki Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami…, Peaky Blinders) as Franklin David Costabile (Breaking Bad, Billions) as David Malin Åkerman (Watchmen) as Martha Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) as Kurt Bill Skarsgård (It, Hemlock Grove) as Mateo Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad) as Caitlin Laia Costa (Victoria) as Libby Georgina Campbell (Black Mirror) as Miranda Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits) as Jonah JJ Feild (Turn: Washington’s Spies) as Nathan As you may know, AMC opted not to proceed with a second season of the show, despite issuing an initial renewal order. Its cancellation was reported in early 2023, with a number of factors reportedly contributing to it, although given the initial renewal came in 2020, it not going to fruition wasn’t exactly surprising by that point. The series lands on Netflix in the United States beginning November 6th, 2025, with the series set to stream for a limited period. While we don’t have confirmation on this period, we suspect, if it’s like Orphan Black, to be around a year. The show’s arrival was first confirmed in late Summer, with AMC and Netflix announcing a new deal to bring new and older library shows to the platform, predominantly in the US but also worldwide, as we’ve been extensively covering. A number have already been added, such as Orphan Black, NOS4A2 , and Parish, plus new seasons of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Dark Winds , Interview with the Vampire, and more. Some of these shows have also been made available in international territories for the first time. For more on what’s coming to Netflix in November 2025 , keep it locked here on What’s on Netflix.
