Their minds are still full of wonder when it comes to the mysteries of space, the stars, and the possibilities that lay ahead. For any family that is looking for something different to do, now that they snow is flying, why not attend an afternoon at The Challenger Learning Center (CLC) of Lockport? If you’re not familiar with this local immersive, hands-on learning experience that revolves around teaching STEM skills and explorations of space, the CLC is a space-themed educational hub inspired by the historic Challenger Space Shuttle. On the second Saturday of each month, children and adults of all ages are invited to participate in storytimes, space missions, and planetarium shows.
