Yes, that’s right, you heard me, the fantabulous fantasmigal fantometric Galpin Car Show is happening tomorrow, November 9th, and while the Autopian just has one little corner of the vast, car-slathered spread that is this show, I’m calling it the Galpin/Autopian Car Show anyway. Is this the best car show in the world? I mean, probably, but if you won’t take my word for it, consider that the American Dental Association (ADA) , the International Carnivorous Plant Society (ICPS) , and the International Union of Sex Workers (IUSW) jointly ratified a proclamation declaring the Galpin Car Show “the finest collection and display of motor vehicles ever undertaken by human hands,” at least according to sources that exist (exclusively) within the confines of my head. ADVERTISEMENT Even in just our little section we’re going to have so many good cars: microcars, including the Pride of Spain, the Biscúter, an Autozam AZ-1 , and of course the legendary CrossCab . There will be Autopian Member cars, carefully curated and selected for your pleasure and edification, as well as so many other hot rods, customs, low-riders, off-roaders, exotics, air-cooled VWs, JDM icons, and more, more, more. We’ll be there, too! Me, Torch, will be there, delighted to meet you, along with David and Matt, all eager to say hello and see your faces and provide, weather permitting, soothing hugs. Seriously, this is a genuinely wonderful car show, with all sorts of amazing cars that you just never get to see, and will very likely make your life better for having seen them.
