The charismatic canine with the distinctive look captured hearts across the UK when she won the title of the UK’s Ugliest Dog in 2023, quickly making her a beloved figure, both online and offline. There will also be a spectacular range of trader stalls and artist areas with a large show floor for the perfect shopping experience for everyone across all fandoms. Laura Campbell, Head of Community Fundraising and Retail at CHAS said, “We are delighted to be bringing CHAS’s Sci-Fi Con back to Edinburgh for an 11th year. “It has become such a well-loved event across all fandoms and attracts thousands of visitors from all over Scotland and beyond. The main attraction every year is of course the star guests, and we always endeavour to bring a variety of exciting names from movies, TV and gaming. We are excited to announce Dogpool, Luke, , Rich, Maxence and Nola as our first guests for next year.  There will be many more famous faces which will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the event on our Capital Sci-Fi Con website and Facebook page . “Our Con truly is the best place to celebrate all things pop culture. As well as having the chance to meet your heroes, get an item signed or a photo, many guests will also appear live on stage so you’ll get to hear directly about their new projects and previous roles. This is why tickets to this event would make an excellent present for a Sci-Fi obsessed loved one this Christmas while raising funds for vulnerable children supported by CHAS at the same time.” To find out more about Capital Sci-Fi Con 2025 and buy tickets visit: https://www.capitalscificon.com/tickets.html Back to blog list Business Comment Business Comment is the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce’s bi-monthly magazine.
