Television The walls between streaming services continue to crumble. In a rare move involving a Hulu Original series, the Stephen King limited series 11.22.63 is scheduled to land on Netflix in the United States on January 7th, 2026. Why is a Hulu Original series coming to Netflix, you may be thinking, but there’s a big asterisk attached. Like The Following and Found coming to Netflix in January 2026 , this series is distributed by Warner Bros. Television, which means it is part of the massive licensing deal currently populating the Netflix library. The series, despite being a Hulu Original, actually departed that streamer quite some time ago. It has had a recent stint on Tubi , but this marks the first time the series has been available in the US on Netflix. It’s expected that the series will remain on Netflix for at least a year. What is 11.22.63? Based on the best-selling 2011 novel by Stephen King, 11.22.63 is a genre-bending limited series produced by J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Wars). The story follows Jake Epping, an ordinary high school English teacher who is presented with an unthinkable opportunity by his dying friend: a time portal in a local diner closet that leads directly to October 1960. Jake is given a singular, monumental mission: live in the past for three years and prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The limited series was first released on Hulu back in February 2016, meaning the series is quickly coming up to its tenth-year anniversary. It ran for eight episodes in total. It picked up positive reviews across the board. Who is in the cast? The series features a star-studded cast, led by James Franco in one of his most acclaimed television roles. James Franco as Jake Epping/James Amberson. Sarah Gadon (Alias Grace) as Sadie Dunhill, the librarian who steals Jake’s heart in the 1960s. Chris Cooper (Adaptation) as Al Templeton, the owner of the diner who discovers the portal. Daniel Webber (The Punisher) as Lee Harvey Oswald. George MacKay (1917) as Bill Turcotte. Cherry Jones (Succession) as Marguerite Oswald. Josh Duhamel (Transformers) as Frank Dunning. Will you be traveling back in time with 11.22.63 on January 7th? Let us know in the comments below.
