The US Vice President has confessed he is a ‘mad UFO-lunatic’. But the second most powerful man in the western world said not all mystery craft may be steered by ET . Asked on the Pod Force One podcast if he believes in aliens, Vance, 41, replied: “It’s interesting. I wouldn’t say that I do or don’t believe it. “I’m a big believer that there are things out there that we can’t explain. And so if another person sees an alien maybe I see an angel or a demon. So I’m a big believer that there are like spiritual forces working on the physical world that a lot of us don’t see and a lot of us don’t understand and a lot of us don’t appreciate. View 3 Images JD Vance(Image: Getty Images) “Is it aliens or is it our guardian angel or is it aliens or is it a not so guardian force that doesn’t care about us or in fact actively wishes us harm? I don’t know the answer to that question. “What I try to do is I try to say my prayers. I try to be as good of a person as I can be and I try to do a good job. And, hopefully that’s all I need to do.” Vance said Secretary of State Marco Rubio was also interested in the topic which they been chatting about since their days as US senators. The Vice President said: “There’s certainly an interest there, there’s certainly an intrigue. But I really haven’t yet had time to dig in. “Things have been so busy. But this is the crazy person inside me. All of us put the tinfoil hat on from time to time.” It is not the first time Vance has admitted he is fascinated by UFOs. In August he told another podcast he was ‘obsessed with the whole UFO thing’. What’s actually happening? “I haven’t gotten to the bottom of it yet but we’re only six months in.” Whistleblowers have claimed the US Government has retrieved crashed UFOs which it has reverse-engineered in a bid to get a technological advantage on its rivals. Some have claimed it has also recovered alien remains from the crash sites. The US Government denies the claims insisting it has no direct evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial life.
