Fans can catch the film at Broadway Cinema in Eureka and Crescent City Cinema in Crescent City. The return comes after a packed premiere at the Eureka Theater on November 8, where local audiences embraced the movie’s blend of trippy humor, heartfelt friendship, and Mt. Shasta weirdness. It’s just one stop on the film’s growing West Coast tour, which kicked off with a sold-out outdoor premiere in Los Angeles. Since then, The Lemurian Candidate has made its way through cities big and small, including Oakland, Quincy, Redwood City, Petaluma, Sparks, and Ashland—where it’s now in its third week. Mt. Shasta audiences have kept it running for ten weeks straight. The film follows two friends and their chaotic buddy on a backpacking trip to Mt.
