However, introverted guests should know there are unwritten “rules” it they may want to follow when dining at the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” Sci-Fi Dine-In Being something of an introvert myself , I’ve worked out a lot of “rules” for myself at Disney World over my 30+ years visiting the resort. When it comes to dining, these are some of the things I always keep in mind. Look Up Photos Beforehand Thanks to their heavy theming, many Walt Disney World restaurants have… interesting layouts and sizes. Combine that with the fact that Disney will often pack a space with as many tables as safely possible to satisfy demand. So, some spaces can feel a bit cramped, with other diners “on top of you”, and it’s best to be prepared. It’s dark Be Wary of Unique Tables Speaking of unique layouts, some of Walt Disney World’s restaurants can have very unique tables. Take the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater’s car seats or the ’50s Prime Time Cafe’s kitchen tables for example. Menus: Lunch/Dinner , Children's Lunch/Dinner Services: Table Service These interesting setups can lead to seating arrangements that can have parties — or even diners from another party — sitting at odd angles and perhaps closer to each other than some are comfortable with. Be ready to be treated like family! Be Aware of “Immersive” Experiences Speaking of the 50s Prime Time Cafe, that Hollywood Studios eatery, as well as shows like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge’s Whispering Canyon, are immersive, with cast members involving diners to a degree that may make some uncomfortable. Quincy in Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue Prepare for Character Meals Speaking of immersive dining experiences, be ready to interact with characters if you’re doing a character meal. Cinderella Be Ready to Order For some guests (GUILTY) ordering can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. That’s why I’ll often browse a menu beforehand and have a good idea what I want; that way I won’t take too long, hold up the ordering process, or stumble over my words.
