The film, described as a blend of 'Edge of Tomorrow' and 'The Shallows,' follows a smuggler caught in a time loop amidst sharks and mercenaries. Production is expected to begin soon. The project, âShiverâ already has confirmation from âJohn Wickâ star Keanu Reeves in the lead role. Not only that but director Tim Miller, who is known for his work in âDeadpoolâ, âLove Death + Robotsâ, and âSonic the Hedgehogâ, is also confirmed to join.Matthew Vaughn and Aaron Ryder have also been confirmed to join the project as well, building up the anticipation surrounding the film, while Ian Shorr has joined in to helm the script of the sci-fi feature. The report reads that the film âhas been described as having shades of Edge of Tomorrow, the Tom Cruise sci-fi movie about a soldier trapped in a time loop during an alien invasion, and The Shallows, the Blake Lively shark survival movie.âThe story is predicted to be about the life of a smuggler, who, while on a mission in the Caribbean ends up running into massive trouble. This results in him getting stuck in a continuous time loop surrounded by a double cross, deadly sharks and mercenaries who want to end his life with whatever means possible.
