The initial sighting — on October 3, 2003 — involved Boeing contractors reporting a "massive glowing red square silently hovering" over two missile defense installations, which he said became known as the "Vandenberg glowing red square event". He further shared that during his shift, several security guards reported the sighting, with his friends exclaiming: "It's coming right at us! It's coming right for us!" and "Now it's here!". Glowing 'tic-tac' objects emerged from the sea. Another observer, US Navy member Alexandro Wiggins, believed something strange occurred on February 15, 2023, while onboard the USS Jackson Navy ship off the southern California coast. He reported seeing unidentified flying objects "not consistent with conventional aircraft or drones" that could not be explained by routine matters. Wiggins also claimed to have seen a "self-luminous tic-tac-shaped object emerge from the ocean before joining three other similar objects".
