NYP: Thousands of NGOs and UFOs have been recorded off the coast of the USA — The Pentagon is hiding information Today14:02 NGO observation sites off the east coast of the USA. Illustration: nypost.com Thousands of sightings of unidentified underwater objects (NGOs) have been recorded off the US coast near shipping lanes, which, according to senior representatives of the US Navy, may pose a threat to national security. This is reported by The New York Post. Two bright green lights hovered underwater in the Fort Lauderdale River, Florida, against the background of buildings. A video accompanying one of the reports sent to the special Enigma application for tracking UFOs showed mysterious green lights moving under the surface of the ocean. Enigma, which positions itself as "the largest searchable database of historical UFO sightings in the world," claims to have received reports of more than 30,000 unidentified flying objects and unidentified anomalous phenomena since its launch at the end of 2022. But the observations were not limited to the sky: there were also reports of strange objects rising from the depths of the sea or plunging into the water without the slightest splash. The footage viewed by the Pentagon documented cases of unidentified objects diving into or out of the water without damaging the vessel or even producing splashes, which caused alarm among some officials. As of August, Enigma has also recorded more than 9,000 mysterious sightings within 10 miles of the U.S. coastline or large bodies of water, 500 of which are within 5 miles, with more than 150 reports describing objects hovering over or descending into waterways, Marine Technology News reports. According to this portal, California (389) and Florida (306) became the states with the largest number of reports on NGOs — Both states are among the three US states with the largest length of coast. One of the strangest messages is a video captured on a phone camera, which captures inexplicable green lights moving under the surface of the ocean. Enigma has published maps on which the recorded observations are marked, presented in the form of clusters of orange dots stretching along the east and west coasts. UFO sightings are nothing new and are often perceived by most of the scientific community as nonsense or belong to the field of science fiction. However, retired Rear Admiral of the US Navy Tim Gallaudet warns that UFOs capable of moving from air to water without crashing or even making a fuss can have "worldwide" consequences. "The fact that unidentified objects with unexplained characteristics penetrate US territorial waters, and the Department of Defense does not raise a big red flag, is a sign that the government is not sharing all the information about anomalous phenomena covering all areas of activity," Gallaudet wrote in a March 2024 report. Alarm signals were raised in July 2019, when the US Navy destroyer Omaha recorded a UFO — an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that disappeared without a trace in the ocean after flying over the US Navy fleet off the coast of San Diego. The video of the incident was verified by the Pentagon, which indicates capabilities that, according to Gallaudet, "endanger the maritime security of the United States, which is already weakened by our relative ignorance of the oceans." In his 29-page report for the analytical center Sol Foundation, specializing in UFOs, Gallodee said that there is a documented system of reporting such phenomena. "Pilots, reliable observers and calibrated military instruments have recorded objects accelerating at speed and crossing the air-sea interface in ways impossible for anything man—made," he wrote.
