The upcoming title expands the Master Chief’s first journey with new story content and major improvements. Three extra missions let players team up with Sergeant Avery Johnson in battles set before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. The game also features revamped cinematics, including new motion-capture animations and newly recorded dialogue from returning cast members. Halo’s audio has been completely rebuilt, featuring a remastered score and enhanced sound effects that highlight every iconic weapon and vehicle, including the thundering Hunter cannons and the Warthog’s powerful engine. For the first time in the campaign, players can hijack enemy vehicles, including the Wraith tank, and drive an upgraded Warthog that accommodates a full four-player fireteam. The remake also introduces nine new weapons from across the Halo universe, including the Energy Sword, Battle Rifle, and Needle Rifle. Developers are highlighting replayability in Halo: Campaign Evolved, featuring the most gameplay-modifying Skulls ever in a Halo campaign, letting players customize enemies, player stats, and environmental mechanics.
